Description

Designed for busy homes and commercial spaces, SPC flooring combines exceptional durability with the natural look of real wood or stone. Its rigid stone-plastic composite core is 100% waterproof and highly stable, helping to prevent warping caused by moisture and temperature changes.

The dense construction provides excellent resistance to dents, impacts and everyday wear, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, living areas and other high-traffic spaces. A detailed decorative layer creates an authentic finish, while the click-lock fitting system allows for quick and straightforward installation. Selected options also feature an attached underlay for added comfort, reduced noise and a refined feel underfoot.

FAQs

What is SPC flooring?

SPC stands for Stone Plastic Composite. It is a rigid vinyl flooring with a strong, stable core, combining the appearance of natural wood with excellent durability, water resistance and easy maintenance.

What is the difference between SPC and LVT?

SPC has a rigid composite core, making it firmer, more stable and less susceptible to movement caused by temperature changes. Traditional LVT is generally more flexible and is often glued directly to the subfloor.

Is SPC flooring waterproof?

SPC planks are highly water-resistant and suitable for moisture-prone rooms. However, water may pass through joins or around the perimeter if incorrectly installed, so spills should be cleaned promptly.

Where can SPC flooring be installed?

SPC flooring is suitable for most areas of the home, including kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms, bedrooms, living rooms and hallways.

Can I install SPC flooring myself?

Our SPC floors feature a click-lock system suitable for experienced DIY customers. The subfloor must be correctly prepared, while complex rooms and herringbone layouts may be better suited to professional installation.

Does SPC flooring need underlay?

Yes. SPC flooring requires a suitable underlay to provide support, improve comfort and help reduce sound. Always use the recommended underlay and follow the supplied installation instructions.

What condition should the subfloor be in?

The subfloor must be dry, clean, stable and level. Dips, high spots or loose areas should be corrected before installation to prevent movement, noise or damage to the click joints.

Does SPC flooring require an expansion gap?

Floating SPC flooring generally requires an expansion gap around walls, door frames, pipes and fixed objects.

Can SPC flooring be used with underfloor heating?

Yes. SPC flooring can be used with underfloor heating. Ensure the heating system is installed correctly and the temperature is increased gradually to avoid sudden changes.

How should I clean SPC flooring?

Regularly remove dust and grit using a soft broom or suitable vacuum attachment. Clean with a well-wrung damp mop and a pH-neutral cleaner suitable for vinyl flooring. Avoid abrasive products, harsh chemicals and excessive water.

Is SPC flooring suitable for pets and busy homes?

Yes. SPC flooring is durable, easy to clean and resistant to everyday stains, making it well suited to homes with children and pets. Use entrance mats and furniture pads to help prevent scratches.

Do you supply flooring accessories?

No. We do not supply trim, beading, adhesive or underlay for our SPC flooring. These will need to be purchased separately before installation.

Does SPC flooring come with a guarantee?

Yes. Our SPC flooring is covered by a 25-year guarantee, giving you long-term confidence in its quality and durability.
